A Pragmatic Analysis of Implicature on the "Ustadz Abdul Somad Official" YouTube Channel: The Theme of "Grand Dawn Gathering: Attaining Blessings"

Abstract

Implicature can be said to provide an explicit or concrete explanation of how to interpret more than just "what is actually said." In other words, implicature provides a description of a particular speech act. This research uses an experimental method, a method that involves analyzing natural conversations to identify implicatures that emerge in social contexts. The results of this study are conventional implicatures in the Implicatures in the Ustad Abdul Somad Official Youtube Channel with the Theme of Dawn Achieving Blessings in conventional implicatures, namely: "If we are in the toilet, we are not allowed to dhikr" and: Yes, because if we dhikr, it is a disturbance from Satan who whispers in the heart". The conversation above is also a conversation carried out by Ustad Abdul Somad by showing that Satan when in the toilet will disturb humans to do things that are prohibited by Allah SWT.
